How and why we use cookies

Cookies are tiny text files stored on your device so websites can remember you. Venture Creative Media also uses local storage for low-latency preferences inside the Chrome extension and dashboard.

Every cookie serves one of three purposes. When a cookie is optional we label it clearly in the product.

We rely on a handful of infrastructure partners. They may place their own cookies when strictly necessary for authentication or analytics.

• Vercel Analytics for latency, Core Web Vitals, and deployment health
• Google OAuth when you choose to authenticate with your Google account
• GitHub OAuth for teams that use GitHub sign-in
• PostHog (self-hosted) for product analytics with IP masking enabled

You stay in control. Blocking non-essential cookies has no effect on billing or access.

• Update browser settings to block or delete cookies at any time
• Use private browsing windows to limit persistence
• Opt out of analytics cookies via the in-product preferences panel
• Disable third-party cookies if your organization requires it (core features will still work)

Cookies stick around only as long as necessary to deliver their function.

• Authentication: 7 days or until you sign out
• Preference: up to 12 months so we remember your setup
• Analytics: 24 months maximum for trend analysis
